WWE NXT viewership down, 18-49 demo rating up

Tuesday night’s Battleground fallout episode of WWE NXT averaged 650,000 viewers on The CW, down 6.7 percent from last week. This ties the second-lowest audience total NXT has done for the year to date.

In the 18-49 demo, NXT drew a 0.14 rating. That’s up 7.7 percent from last week but also ties the second-lowest rating the show has done in that category in 2025.

The show faced strong competition with game four of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals between the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks airing head-to-head on TNT, averaging 5.91 million viewers and drawing a 1.78 rating in 18-49. The Edmonton Oilers vs. Dallas Stars in game four of the NHL’s Western Conference Finals on ESPN also aired opposite NXT and averaged 1.521 million viewers with a 0.43 rating in 18-49.

As compared to the same week in 2024, NXT’s overall viewership was down 7.5 percent while the 18-49 rating was down 41.7 percent, continuing to show that NXT’s audience is skewing much older on The CW than it did on USA Network.

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of viewership totals and 18-49 demo ratings for NXT, as well as the 10-week average in both categories. This week’s show was down 4.2 percent in overall viewers and 6.7 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
