Becky Lynch vs. Lyra Valkyria set for WWE Money in the Bank

Becky Lynch vs. Lyra Valkyria III will take place at WWE Money in the Bank.

On Monday, WWE posted a video of the Women’s Intercontinental Champion announcing the news.

“I guess beating Becky twice wasn’t enough to humble her so apparently we’re going to do this a third time. Money in the Bank and I can promise you one thing, the result’s gonna be the same.”

The two discussed their title match later on Raw. Lynch proposed the following stiuplations: if she lost, she would never challenge for the Women’s Intercontinental title again, but if she won, Valkyria would have to raise her hand. Valkyria accepted the stipulations.

Valkyria successfully defended her Intercontinental title against Lynch at Backlash, but Lynch attacked her after the bell. The following Monday on Raw, Lynch bragged that while she lost the match, she made it to Raw, while Valkyria did not, as she was selling the effects of the post-match attack. On the May 19 Raw, Valkyria returned and interfered in Lynch’s MITB qualifying match against Roxanne Perez and Natalya.

Valkyria also won their first singles match at Halloween Havoc 2023 when she successfully defended the NXT Women’s Championship against Lynch.
