Zoey Stark starting road to recovery after knee surgery

Zoey Stark is ready to start the recovery process after undergoing surgery for the knee injury that she suffered on WWE Raw last week.
On the May 19 episode of Raw, Stark was competing in a triple threat Money in the Bank qualifying match when she appeared to blow out her knee during a springboard missile dropkick spot. It was mistimed with Kairi Sane being too far away from Stark, and Stark landed short and suffered a significant knee injury. She was immediately removed from the match, which was won by Rhea Ripley.
The 31-year-old Stark shared an update to her Instagram stories today, writing that she’s on day one of the recovery process after surgery. The exact injury that Stark suffered has not been disclosed, but she’s said she’ll be out of action “for a while.”

After suffering the injury last week, Stark sent out a message thanking everyone for their support.
“Wow the love and support means more to me than you’ll ever know! What hurts more than my knee is knowing I wont be able to perform for all of you for a while,” she tweeted. “I LOVE what I do and I’m blessed to do this. As the saying goes, the comeback is greater than the setback. Love you guys #StarkMarks”
Stark previously underwent knee surgery in 2021 for a torn ACL and meniscus.
