R-Truth appearance added to WWE Raw
R-Truth is set for Raw.
WWE announced just over one hour before the show’s start on Monday that the returning star would be at Raw to speak for the first time since his return at Money in the Bank on Saturday.
At Saturday’s premium live event, Truth ran in and speared John Cena, allowing Cody Rhodes to pick up the win for himself and Jey Uso. Truth had announced previously that he had been let go from WWE, but fan reaction on the following Raw and SmackDown apparently made WWE change their mind, allowing the shocking ending to Money in the Bank to take place.
R-Truth’s last major match was at last month’s Saturday Night’’s Main Event, where he failed to defeat Cena in a non-title match. Cena also acknowledged the crowd’s chants of “we want Truth” on SmackDown, saying the fans couldn’t handle the truth.
